A 23-page zine of poems by Sondos A. Al-Saqqa, a Palestinian writer and poet from Gaza, with illustrations by Ken Tanaka and Maya Lall. A survivor of Israel’s war and genocide, Sondos studied English Literature at the Islamic University of Gaza with Dr. Refaat Al-Areer. She has two brothers. She enjoys cooking, reading, and chatting with friends.
All proceeds from sales of The Heart’s Gaze or Aerie Tales will be passed along to the fundraiser for Sondos and her family. You are also welcome to donate directly to the fundraiser and send me a screenshot of your donation to lee@sheerspite.ca and I will happily send you the files.
