Description
“ELFLAND, edited by Martha Schnee and Lena Warnke, is a communally made compilation of archival documents, photographs, essays and poems created by neighbors to tell the story of an empty lot used by the community as a public art space.”
After an 8 year old started building miniature houses for elves in a vacant lot, other neighbours began to expand it, and it became a community art project that prompted conversations about how we want our neighbourhoods to be.
