Description
“Every word in this zine carries our hearts, our grief, and our defiance. We are human, just like you, with dreams that stretch beyond borders. Remember us, feel with us, and know that even in the face of genocide, we endure—and our voices will not be silenced. Thank you!”
Taqwa Ahmed Al-Wawi is a 19-year-old Palestinian writer and poet from Gaza. She is a student of English Literature at the Islamic University of Gaza. Through her words, she seeks to amplify Gaza’s voice and shed light on stories too often left untold. This zine includes both non-fiction work and poetry, some of which originally appeared in publications like The Electronic Intifada, Al-Jazeera, We Are Not Numbers, Middle East Eye, and The Markaz Review, as well as previously unpublished work.
