Description

This dense zine showcases reflections about giving up alcohol nearly 12 years ago, working in harm reduction (and enacting harm reduction strategies) during sobriety, how morality and narratives of ‘good’ & ‘bad’ shifted for the author over time, and why they chose to go from “sober” to a non-drinker who is no longer “fully” sober. Split into three chapters which each encompass a 5-year milestone of sobriety, Grey writes about major themes they’ve experienced during their struggle with sobriety and brings the reader along with them in understanding the twists and turns that have led to their changing relationship to substances, morality, trauma, harm reduction, and the prioritization of their needs as a disabled autistic person.

66 1/4 size pages, over 18k words, black and white, stapled.
