Description

Provocations for Jewish Anarchism as a distinct mode or ethical compass: Secular means of rebellion are not producing results, at least not in time for the people of Gaza and occupied Palestine. Personal transformation can not only be a means to grow on the individual level, but also make us better equipped to be accomplices in struggles for Liberation.

As Zionism seeks to flatten Jewish experience into one ethnonationalist project in one place around one future “third temple”, I think a DIY praxis of anarchist Judaism can equip us to fight the despair encroaching on the horizon. The zine makes provocations against secular rebellion and The State, trying to see G-d as cosmic infrastructure in our direct action(s): ‘returning’ not merely to traditional observance but also to Makom haPesha – a spatial Temple of Rebellion.
