Description
Fentanyl gets talked about like “the boogeyman that came out of nowhere,” and gets used as a pawn by politicians who want to look “tough on crime.” It is also legitimately causing a huge amount of loss and suffering.
Imogen Reid, author of Accept Yourself or Die: From Mormon Missionary to Trans Punk, Nine Zines on Grief, and What the Fuck is Recovery? writes as a recovering drug addict, someone who has lost friends to fentanyl and seen the crisis unfold from the inside. In this zine, she places fentanyl into its cultural, historical, and scientific context, exploring both its mythology and realities.
Half-letter, black and white, 26 pages.
This listing is for a print copy, the zine is also available as a digital download.
