Guest:
Jeff Miller’s debut novel Temporary Palaces was published by the House of Anansi Press in April 2026. His award-winning creative nonfiction collection Ghost Pine: All Stories True was published by Invisible Publishing. He holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia and lives in rural Nova Scotia.

Guests:
Andi Vicente (they/them) is a queer filipinx artist whose curiosities and practice is radicalized by relationship building and reimagining. Through storytelling, installation, writing and collage work, they’ve written and created pieces about precarious livelihoods, diasporic yearnings and the juxtaposition of movements. Andi enjoys soaking in a good anthology, sharing a pot of soup and discovering desire paths in parks.
Wai-Yant Li is a potter who’s been making pots since 2003. Born and raised in small town Alma, Quebec, they are a second generation kid to Cantonese parents born in Guangdong and Hong Kong. They have now lived in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke for 30 years and have spent 20 of those years running their business of making ceramic critters, Créations Li, with one of their best buds Chris! Their love for ceramics and collective liberation runs deep, and they hope to continue fostering this as the founder of Studio 3 Tables.

Alexis Shotwell is a queer SF nerd, functional potter, teacher, and writer, currently living on unceded Algonquin land. Author of Against Purity: Living Ethically in Compromised Times (about why purity won’t save us) and the forthcoming Liberation is Other People (about getting together to solve big problems in which we are complicit), she is also finishing a book about Ursula K. Le Guin’s anarchism and why it’s so great.
Adrienne Row-Smith (she/her) is a Queer Black visual specialist based in so-called Ottawa, working across photo and video to create bold, impactful imagery. Rooted in a deep commitment to authenticity and accessibility in media, she co-founded The Grove, which is an interdisciplinary art and community space offering affordable rentals and sliding-scale events. Through both her creative practice and community work, Adrienne aims to build a space and working body that reflects the elements of care, resistance, and belonging, where disenfranchised voices are not only heard but celebrated.

Twoey Gray is a Toronto-based zinester, poet, and pen pal. She is the co-editor of PRUDEmag, a zine reclaiming the term “prude” as a refusal of sex-necessary culture. Her work has appeared in Briarpatch Magazine, CBC Arts, The Ex-Puritan, and on the television series “The Big Sex Talk”. She is ready to fall in friends with you.
Pree Rehal is an artist-educator currently based in Tkaronto, originally from Tiohtià:ke. Pree’s artwork is about learning by doing, and the variety in their work (textiles, zines, animation) is led by their neurodivergence, and is about multi-hyphenate identity as a queer, trans, Disabled, brown artist. They’ve led community arts projects including DigiZine, CRIP COLLAB and Crip Arts Collective working group. The latter most recently worked with the Textile Museum of Canada.
